The Jeweled line of cookware is designed for the cook that wants a superior “as cast” finish that seasons quickly, is more naturally non-stick, and captures the eye when presenting at the table. Our Jeweled 10, and Jeweled 8 are non-conventional pieces and we are a non-conventional company.  Breaking from convention, our Jeweled 10 & 8, are measured across the top, not the cooking surface.  Many cast iron products in the past were measured and labeled to correspond with wood or coal stove burner size.  We do not adhere to that convention.   It will become apparent why as we roll out more products in the months and years to come.   I think you’ll be pleased. Why “Jeweled”  

Our  Jeweled  cast ware is inspired by the beautiful pieces of hammered cast ware from last century.  When going through the creative process to try and define our “texture,” I was challenged by a friend to “Be Bold.”  With that in mind, we developed an exterior texture to our cast ware that is visually striking.   When you hold it in your hands for the first time, you can’t help but turn it over and examine every inch.  It is Beautiful.  We designed a texture that truly pushes the limits of how small a feature can be machined into a casting Pattern Tool.  We considered the radius of the cutting tool in designing the pattern.   This texture is on the outside of the cookware.  Our foundry produces an exceptionally smooth finish surface, rivaling Investment casting.   We have no need to mill the cooking surface of our cook ware as demonstrated in our waffle irons.  The design for the Jeweled skillet has been completed, approved, the tooling has been completed, we are patent pending and we have our first casting proofs on hand. *In cast iron terms, a Pattern is the tool used to make the single use sand mold.  To avoid confusion, I use the term “texture” to describe the features on the exterior of our Jeweled line of cast ware.
